Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda announced that confidential performance reports for Revenue Department employees will be processed online starting this year, relieving staff of the burden of submitting physical copies at the time of promotion. The Minister announced this while inaugurating a two-day State-level sports event organised by the Village Administrative Officers’ (VAO) Association in Shivamogga on Friday.

Currently, employees’ performance is reviewed annually by seniors, who then submit confidential reports. These reports must be produced by employees when applying for promotion. “Many employees find it difficult to obtain physical copies of their annual confidential reports in time for promotion. To eliminate this hurdle, we will be processing all confidential reports online from this year onwards,” the Minister said.
