The meeting with Collectors and senior officials, chaired by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has begun at the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad on Tuesday (March 3, 2026). The arrangements for Census-2027 enumeration, which is scheduled to begin in Telangana from May 10, is one of the focus areas reviewed at the meeting.

The Chief Secretary emphasized on the significance of the Census, its background, evolution and other aspects.

The Government’s 99-day action plan, Praja Palana – Pragatiki Pranalika, too would be discussed at the conference. Slated to be implemented from March 6 to June 2 from village level, the main objective is to expedite execution of policy.

The 99-day action plan was discussed at a meeting of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy with Department Secretaries on Saturday (February 28, 2026). He said the progress would be reviewed regularly. The Chief Minister also issued directions to form a single-member committee under senior IAS officer Jayesh Ranjan to implement comprehensive digital governance reforms.
