Inaugurating the Kerala–Lakshadweep chapter of ‘Youth 4 Nation’ at the Amritapuri Ashram, Mata Amritanandamayi has urged India’s youth to take the lead in preserving the country’s cultural heritage.

She remarked that neglecting one’s culture is as profound a loss as failing to recognise one’s own mother, noting that true personal perfection stems from a deep-rooted love and respect for one’s heritage. The event featured former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Harikumar Radhakrishnan as the guest of honour and included a lecture series hosted at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

‘Youth 4 Nation’ is a non-political movement aimed at inspiring university students across India to engage in constructive national development.
