TV host and actor Maniesh Paul’s mother, Urmil Paul, passed away in New Delhi on Wednesday morning (July 8). The news has left the actor-presenter’s fans mourning. Maniesh Paul’s Team said, “With great grief, we regret to inform you that actor Maniesh Paul lost his 77-year-old mother today in Delhi.”
The team also requested fans to pray for her soul, “We request you to please pray for the departed soul. May she rest in eternal peace.” However, further details regarding the circumstances of Maniesh Paul‘s mother’s death have not been disclosed yet.
Maniesh Paul remembers late mother Urmil Paul in heartfelt tribute
Mourning the loss of his mother, Maniesh Paul shared an emotional post on Wednesday night. Sharing a few pictures with his mother, he wrote, “Today, the world feels quieter. This morning, I said goodbye to my mother—my first home, my greatest comfort, and the strongest woman I’ve ever known. No words can truly capture what you’ve meant to me or the emptiness you’ve left behind. But I carry your love, your strength, your kindness, and every lesson you gave me. They will stay with me for the rest of my life. I hope you’re at peace now. Thank you for loving me the way only a mother can. Until we meet again. Love you forever and ever (sic).”
Several celebrities condoled the death of Maniesh Paul’s mother and expressed their grief in the comments section. Mouni Roy wrote, “I’m so, so sorry.” Varun Dhawan reacted with a heart emoji. Actress Soundarya Sharma commented, “My heartfelt condolences. She’s always around.” Comedian Kiku Sharda wrote, “Deepest condolences, brother. Om Shanti.”
Maniesh Paul’s Mother’s Day post for his mother
Earlier this year in May, Maniesh Paul shared a heartfelt Mother’s Day post dedicated to his mother on Instagram. He posted a few pictures with her and wrote, “Meri maa Aur mere bachchon ki maa. Happy Mother’s Day. And thank you for EVERYTHING!!!! (sic).”
