A 69-year-old man died while undergoing treatment after a hit and run case involving a motorcycle on the Lingampally flyover on November 30. The Chandanagar police booked a case.

A motorcycle struck Satyanarayana Panchumarthi while he was crossing the road on his bicycle at about 09.50 a.m. on November 30.

According to the complaint, Satyanarayana left his residence at about 08.30 a.m., heading towards Lingampally. At about 1 p.m., his son Pradeep Ramakrishna came to know through a WhatsApp group that his father had met with an accident.

His friends later traced him to Osmania General Hospital, where he had been admitted after the incident.

He was shifted to a private hospital in Malakpet at about 4 p.m. for further treatment.

However, he succumbed on December 2 at 10 p.m.
