Man, stabbed by relative, succumbs to injuries at Kelakam in Kannur

A 45-year-old man who was undergoing treatment after being stabbed by his brother-in-law at Iruttumuktu, near Kelakam, died on Monday (November 3, 2025).

The deceased has been identified as Roy, a resident of Pouvvathil Iruttumuktu, according to the Kelakam police. Roy was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law, Arakkal Jason, around 8.30 p.m. on Sunday .

Though Roy was admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The Kelakam police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
