Man found murdered in Rajendranagar; nephew suspected and at large

Panic gripped Rajendranagar on Wednesday (September 24, 2025) morning after body of a man was found lying in a pool of blood near the service road off the Bengaluru National Highway. The deceased was identified as 36-year-old Mohammad Minazuddin, a fruit vendor and resident of Kanchanbagh.

Rajendranagar Inspector K. Kastro said preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Arbaaz, the victim’s nephew, allegedly stabbed Minazuddin with a knife inside his car, dumped the body near Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, and then fled the scene.

While the motive is still under investigation, police suspect the killing could be linked to an ongoing family dispute. A case has been registered by the Rajendranagar police, and efforts are underway to trace Arbaaz. The body was sent for postmortem examination.
