To commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram, the military band of the Madras Sappers will perform stirring martial music at the iconic Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bengaluru on January 25 at 4 p.m.

One of the oldest and distinguished regiments of the Indian Army, the Madras Sappers proudly uphold a 245-year-old legacy, marked by courage, discipline and selfless service to the nation.

“The military band, renowned for precision and patriotic fervour, will bring alive the spirit of Vande Mataram through powerful musical renditions that inspire unity, valour and national pride,” stated the Ministry of Defence.

This special event seeks to connect citizens with India’s rich military heritage while honouring a song that ignited the freedom movement, and continues to inspire generations.
