The accused opened 26 accounts in Eluru Road, Gunadala and other branches of a private bank in Vijayawada, and borrowed loans worth ₹5.28 crore. Pavan Kumar was wanted in other cases in Krishnalanka, Bhavanipuram, Bandar Two Town and Gudur police stations, Ms. Prasanna said.

Police seized documents valued about ₹7 crore, a car, 122 grams of gold jewellery, 927 grams of silver ornaments, nine ATM cards and other valuables from the accused, the DCP said and appreciated the police for arresting the fraudster.
