Lakshadweep completed 100% distribution and digitisation of enumeration forms as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls on Friday, according to an official release. The draft electoral roll will be published on December 9, 2025, said the release issued by Shivam Chandra, Electoral Registration Officer.

The SIR of electoral rolls started in Lakshadweep on November 4, 2025. Fifty-five booth-level officers (BLOs) across all 10 islands conducted house-to-house visits for the distribution of enumeration forms and assisted voters in filling the forms. A total of 133 booth-level agents, appointed by political parties, actively supported the enumeration process alongside the BLOs, it said.

The release added that special camps were held across designated areas in all the islands to expedite the collection and digitisation of enumeration forms.
