Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao alleged that the Delhi Liquor policy ‘scam’ narrative not only led to the fall of the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi but also politically damaged the BRS in both the Telangana Assembly and Parliamentary elections.

In a post on ‘X’, Mr. Rama Rao said the verdict vindicated their long-standing claim that the case was politically motivated and fabricated. “Kavitha garu got justice in court today. In the same manner, every case registered against our leaders will ultimately be exposed as false and politically driven,” he said, asserting that the liquor policy allegations were used as a political tool to target opposition parties.

Mr. Rama Rao alleged that until the full truth emerges, reckless accusations from the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party, coupled with what he described as ‘media trials’, would continue to malign opposition leaders and mislead the public.

Such developments reflect a disturbing trend in the ‘New India’, where allegations are amplified before evidence is established through media narratives. “But in the end, justice will prevail,” he said.
