A Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) driver was suspended from service for posting defamatory content on Facebook against Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan and for morphing and circulating his picture in a defamatory manner.

The corporation has initiated departmental disciplinary action against S. Sunilkumar, a driver attached to the KSRTC Nedumkandam unit in Idukki. It is learnt that the police are likely to register a case against him under the IT Act in connection with the incident. Further investigation is currently under way with the assistance of the cyber cell.
