KSPCB 50th anniversary event on Oct. 18

The 50th year of establishment of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) will be celebrated in Kalaburagi on October 18, KSPCB member Sharankumar Modi has said.

Addressing presspersons at THE KSPCB regional office here recently, Mr. Modi said that the golden jubilee event of the KSPCB will be inaugurated by Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister and district in-charge Priyank Kharge.

Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology Eshwar Khandre, Minister for Small Scale Industries Sharanabasappa Darshanapur and KSPCB Chairman P.M. Narendra Swamy will be present.

To commemorate its 50th year celebrations, the board organized environment awareness programmes in educational institutions across Kalaburagi and Yadgir districts, Mr. Modi added.
