Kotak Mahindra Bank, NGO to refurbish 30 anganwadis in Karnataka

About 30 anganwadi centres across Dharwad and Gadag districts in Karnataka will be refurbished by Kotak Mahindra Bank in partnership with United Way Bengaluru (UWBe), an NGO, under the Saksham Anganwadi Project of the State Government.

Himanshu Nivsarkar, Head – CSR & ESG, Kotak Mahindra Bank, said, “Through the project, we aim to empower communities by fostering healthier beginnings and brighter futures for children and mothers. We collaborated with United Way Bengaluru and the Women and Child Development Department on this initiative.”

Rajesh Krishnan, CEO, United Way Bengaluru, said the project was aimed at holistic community development.
