The Chikkamagaluru police recovered gold and silver items besides ₹3.41 lakh in cash from a vehicle seized in connection with a theft case in Koppa.

The Koppa police had seized two vehicles in connection with the theft case reported at an estate at Horanduru village in August this year. Unknown people had made away with the valuables worth over ₹43.5 lakh. The estate manager had filed the complaint, suspecting the role of people whom the owner had hired.

The police arrested three people and seized two vehicles. Upon searching the vehicles on Wednesday, November 5, the police found 595 gm of gold, 589 gm of silver items and ₹3.41 lakh in cash.

In a press communique on Thursday, the police said that they seized the valuables and began further legal procedures.
