Kohrra Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix in February, with Barun Sobti returning as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi and Mona Singh joining the cast in a key new role.
After a critically acclaimed and successful first season, Kohrra returns for a second season on February 11. While Barun Sobti returns as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi, Mona Singh is the latest addition to the cast.
Kohrra, which was first released on Netflix in 2023, received rave reviews for the star cast, their performances, and storyline.

Created and written by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia and Sudip Sharma, Kohrra Season 2 brings with it a fresh case and a new pairing, rooted once again in Punjab’s bleak, wintry terrain. Barun Sobti as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi has left Jagrana behind and is posted to Dalerpura Police Station. He now works under his new commanding officer, Dhanwant Kaur (Mona Singh), where a haunting new chapter awaits.

Starring Mona Singh and Barun Sobti, Kohrra 2 is a Film Squad Production in association with Act Three, produced by Saurabh Malhotra, Sudip Sharma, Manuj Mittra and Tina Tharwani, and directed by Sudip Sharma and Faisal Rahman. The series is created and written by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia and Sudip Sharma.
Showrunner and director of Kohrra 2, Sudip Sharma, shared, “It’s quite exciting to be back. Season 1 allowed us to explore quieter tensions between people, between past and present. This season as well, we’ve tried to bring forth as authentic a portrayal of Punjab as possible, with the characters rooted in a universal reality we’ve seen play out across the country. The show’s an emotional roller-coaster. Barun and Mona have done a fantastic job, and I can’t wait for people to see it for themselves.”
