Dheeraj Bhavimane, a final-year BCom student of KLE Society’s Lingaraj College, Belagavi, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) to be held later this month in New Delhi. He will represent Karnataka at the national-level camp.
According to an official release, Cadet Bhavimane was selected from the Karnataka and Goa NCC Directorate during the Republic Day Camp selection held recently in Bengaluru.
He is a cadet of the 26 Karnataka NCC Battalion, Belagavi. His selection is a matter of pride for the institution and the NCC unit, said a release.
The Commanding Officer of 26 Karnataka NCC Battalion, Col. Sunil Dagar, Lt. Col. Siddharth Redhu, KLE Society chairman Prabhakar Kore, joint secretary Prakash Kadakol, principal H.S. Melinmani, NCC officer Major Mahesh Guranagoudar, Subedar Major Kallappa Patil, and others have congratulated the student.
