Kerala’s ‘Vision 2031’: Transport department’s seminar on October 15

The Transport department will hold a State-level seminar as part of ‘Vision 2031’ to present the department’s development goals and discuss future plans to ensure sustainable and safe transport facilities. The seminar scheduled to be held at the Believers Convention Center, Thiruvalla, on October 15 will be inaugurated by Transport Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar.

The seminar will see discussions with experts centred on various topics such as the future of Kerala’s transport facilities in 2031, improvement of travel experiences of passengers, use of advanced technologies including artificial intelligence in the transport sector, and the implementation of innovative road safety methods.

The views of the experts will be compiled to formulate a comprehensive future approach document for the Transport department.
