Kerala’s Power department releases short video with tips to keep electricity consumption down

As Kerala continues to battle a power crisis this summer, Additional Chief Secretary (Power) Puneet Kumar on Thursday said adopting small lifestyle changes could go a long way in keeping electricity consumption down to manageable levels.

In a short video prepared by Power department agency Energy Management Centre (Kerala), Mr. Kumar offered tips on conserving electricity, while seeking the public’s cooperation to keep consumption down during the evening hours when it peaks.
