The Kerala State Film Awards for 2024 is set to be announced on Monday (November 3, 2025). Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian will announce the awards at a press conference in Thrissur at 3.30 p.m.

A jury headed by actor and producer Prakash Raj has been over the past month involved in the judging process.

Two sub-committees had conducted the initial judging process to shortlist the films for the final judging panel consisting of seven members.

A total of 128 films have been submitted for the award this year.

The jury has before it a wide range of films from a year which had a considerable number of box-office hits as well as critically acclaimed films.

Films such as Kishkindha Kaandam, Bramayugam and Feminichi Fathima are expected to be in contention in the various categories.

Last year, as many as 22 of the 38 films shortlisted for the final jury were made by debutants.
