The Kerala State Chalachitra Academy has invited applications for its film appreciation summer camps for children to be held in May. Children from Classes VIII, IX and X can participate in the camp, which will have sessions on film appreciation, film technology and acting training. Classic films will also be screened during the camp. Children selected for the camp will be provided free accommodation and food. The last date for receiving applications is May 11.

Applications can be submitted online through the link https://forms.gle/K3jJZrLvPLdwah5T8. Two camps will be organised in north Kerala and south Kerala in collaboration with the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare. Slots are available for 120 participants across both the regions. Prominent filmmakers, actors and technicians from Malayalam cinema will interact with the children at the camp.
