Nijesh Aravind, general secretary of the District Congress Committee (DCC) in Kozhikode, Kerala, has resigned from his post alleging attempts to “sideline” him in party activities.

Mr. Aravind submitted his resignation to the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Friday (April 17, 2026), claiming that he was “deliberately excluded” from election campaign responsibilities.
