Karnataka govt. sanctions ₹10 crore to strengthen Mysuru, Chamarajanagar district hospitals

The State government has sanctioned ₹10 crore to strengthen trauma and burn care facilities in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar district hospitals under the National Programme for Prevention and Management of Trauma and Burn Injuries.

As part of the initiative, 13 ambulances and essential medical equipment will be procured to enhance emergency response services in both districts.

According to a government order,  the two district hospitals will each get one Advanced Life Support ambulance, while 11 Basic Life Support ambulances will be deployed across seven taluk hospitals in Mysuru district and four taluk hospitals in Chamarajanagar district.
