Following a recent complaint by Asha Parveen, former Chief Administrative Officer of the State-run Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, alleging irregularities in administrative matters, financial transactions, tender processes, and procurement activities at the institute, the State government has set a three-member probe committee.

The committee will be headed by Usha Rani, Chief Administrative Officer, Directorate of Medical Education. Vishnu Prasad, Chief Accounts Officer at the Institute of Gastroenterology Sciences and Organ Transplant (IGOT), and Manjula, Administrative Officer at the Institute of Nephro-Urology will be members.

According to the order dated July 27, the Directorate of Medical Education has asked the committee to conduct an inquiry and examination of the alleged irregularities and submit a detailed report at the earliest.
