Karnataka Folklore University under scanner for offering PG courses unrelated to its specialisation

Karnataka Folklore University is under the scanner for offering postgraduate (PG) courses which are not related to its specialisation without getting approval for the course statutes from the government and the Chancellor of the University.

Following a complaint, the Higher Education Department has constituted a committee headed by the former Vice-Chancellor H.C. Boralingaiah to conduct an inquiry and submit a report on the same within 15 days.
