Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanti celebrated with religious fervour in Vizianagaram

Hundreds of devotees offered special prayers on the occasion of Goddess Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanti, which was celebrated with religious fervour on Sunday. The presiding deity was adorned with a diamond-studded saree and a gold crown on the auspicious day. Temple president Narayanam Srinivas, Arya Vysya Sangham Vizianagaram city president Ravva Srinivas and others coordinated the arrangements for Ashtottara Sata Kalasa Pradakshina, Abhishekam and other rituals.

Devotees offered naivedyam with 108 varieties in a traditional manner. In the evening, a massive rally was organised, culminating near the temple premises. A Veda Sabha was also held on the occasion. Adhyatmika Jnana Jyothi Mandali president P. V. R. Kumari and other members took part in the procession and related activities.
