Kalaburagi district has once again secured the top position in Karnataka in the disposal of applications received through Atalji Janasnehi Kendras, achieving a disposal rate of 97.94% during May 2026.

According to official data released here on Wednesday, Kalaburagi has disposed of 38,551 applications of the 39,363 received during the month within the stipulated timeframe, emerging as the best-performing district in the State in the delivery of revenue-related citizen services.

The Nadakacheri centres provide 43 services of the Revenue Department and Kalaburagi achieved the highest disposal performance by ensuring timely processing of applications.

The district recorded a disposal index of 9.48, reflecting its efficiency in public service delivery and administrative responsiveness.

This is the third time in less than a year that Kalaburagi has topped the State rankings. The district earlier secured the first position in July and December 2025 as well, reinforcing its reputation for efficient governance and prompt citizen service.

The taluk-wise figures shows that Afzalpur disposed of 3,516 applications of 3,572 received, Aland 4,116 of 4,203, Chincholi 3,297 of 3,326, Chittapur 3,324 of 3,355, Jewargi 2,009 of 2,078, Kalaburagi taluk 10,212 of 10,557, Kalagi 2,056 of 2,096, Kamalapur 2,709 of 2,754, Sedam 3,750 of 3,806, Shahabad 1,761 of 1,781 and Yadrami 1,801 applications of 1,835.

Deputy Commissioner Ikram Shariff attributed the achievement to the dedication and efficiency of Nadakacheri and Atalji Janasnehi Kendra staff.

He congratulated the officials and employees involved and urged them to maintain the same level of performance in future while continuing to respond promptly to public grievances and service requests.

The State-wide rankings also show a strong performance by districts in the Kalyana Karnataka region.

While Kalaburagi has secured the top spot, Vijayanagara ranks third with a disposal index of 8.71, Ballari fourth with 8.29 and Raichur seventh with 6.52 indicating that four districts from the region feature among the State’s top 10 performers in public service delivery.
