JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, will host its annual cultural festival JAYCIANA 2026 on July 6 and 7, transforming the university campus into a vibrant celebration of art, culture, music, creativity, and youthful talent.

The annual event has, over the years, evolved into one of most awaited and celebrated intercollegiate cultural festivals. The festival attracts a large number of students from across colleges, offering a platform to showcase artistic excellence, cultural diversity and innovation. From dance performances and music to theatre, literary events, fine arts, and contemporary competitions, the annual event represents the spirit of student creativity and holistic development, the organisers said.

Nitesh Patil, Regional Commissioner, Mysuru, will be the chief guest at the inaugural event on July 6 at 6 p.m. Kannada actor Vasishta N. Simha will inaugurate the cultural celebrations. B. Suresh, director, Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, and A.N. Santosh Kumar, vice-chancellor, JSS STU, will be present.

Chandan Shetty, singer, music composer, and rapper, will enthral the audience with his performance. Playback singer Mohammed Irfan, who has sung hit songs in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali cinema, will present a live concert, a press release said.

The two-day festival will witness performances by the students of JSS STU as well. “The festival serves as a platform to encourage students to explore their talents beyond the classroom while fostering teamwork, leadership, confidence, and cultural appreciation. JAYCIANA 2026 promises to be a grand celebration of youth, culture, and creativity,” the university said.
