A Kerala-born Visionary Who Took Indian Spirit to Global Heights
The prestigious Bharat Shreshtha Ratna Sanman 2025, one of India’s most respected recognitions celebrating excellence, innovation, and national pride, has found one of its most deserving recipients this year — Tintumon Pulickaparampil Thankachan, fondly known across continents as Jiboombaa.
Honoured for his extraordinary contribution in the fields of global entrepreneurship, culture, and digital influence, Jiboombaa represents the essence of modern India — deeply rooted in tradition, yet unafraid to embrace the world.
From the serene landscapes of Kerala to the charming streets of Paris, Jiboombaa’s journey is a masterclass in turning dreams into destiny. His ventures — Gramam Restaurant, Campus20, and Bluemoon Real Estate — have not only created opportunities but have also become living symbols of cultural connection and innovation. Each of these initiatives mirrors his belief that true success lies in blending authenticity with ambition.
The Bharat Shreshtha Ratna Sanman is awarded to individuals who have made a significant mark through excellence, leadership, and contribution to society — across business, art, culture, and global impact. Jiboombaa’s recognition under this esteemed honour celebrates a man who carried the warmth of Kerala to foreign lands, turning his passion for people, food, and storytelling into a worldwide movement.
His story began in Kerala, where he worked as a travel guide at the Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary. Interacting with travelers from around the world, Tintumon learned early that connection is the foundation of growth. That curiosity soon led him to Pondicherry to study French — a decision that transformed his worldview and opened doors to global experiences.
In 2009, he moved to Kuwait to join M/S Synergy as a Business Executive. His performance and leadership quickly earned him the Best Team Leader Award (2011) and Best Marketing Executive Award (2012). But beyond corporate success, he longed for the flavours and spirit of home — a feeling that eventually led him toward entrepreneurship.
When Jiboombaa opened his first restaurant, he didn’t just serve food — he served culture. His idea of introducing authentic Indian and Sri Lankan village cuisines to the Gulf and later to Paris became a global sensation. French media called it the “Village Food Revolution,” and locals fell in love with the warmth, simplicity, and love behind every dish.
But his story didn’t end there. In April 2025, Jiboombaa embraced a new identity — that of a digital creator. His videos, filled with humour, culture, and heartfelt storytelling, struck an instant chord with audiences worldwide. Within months, his online presence exploded, and “Jiboombaa” became more than a name — it became a movement of joy, positivity, and connection.
The word Jiboombaa itself has turned into an emotion — a cheerful expression of energy, life, and optimism. Across continents, people now use it as a greeting, a vibe, and a reminder to stay spirited.
Receiving the Bharat Shreshtha Ratna Sanman 2025, Jiboombaa expressed deep gratitude:
“This award is not just mine — it belongs to every dreamer who believes that roots are not meant to hold you back, but to help you grow. From a small village in Kerala to the grand stage of Paris, my journey is proof that belief, love, and hard work can truly change lives.”
As he continues to inspire millions through his ventures and digital journey, this recognition stands as a symbol of his enduring legacy — one built on passion, culture, and kindness.
Jiboombaa — a man who carried Kerala in his heart, spread India’s warmth to the world, and proved that authenticity is the greatest form of success.
With the Bharat Shreshtha Ratna Sanman 2025, he once again reminds us that dreams, when rooted in purpose, can truly transcend borders.
