Senior leader T. Jeevan Reddy’s decision to quit the Congress party has drawn a measured response from T. Jagga Reddy, working president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), who termed the development “painful.”

He said it was unfortunate that a senior Congress leader like Jeevan Reddy had chosen to leave the party after remaining loyal to both the Congress party and its leadership.
