A 24-year-old woman was booked by the Jeedimetla police on Monday night after she created a nuisance on a busy stretch under the influence of alcohol.
The woman, identified as Rupa alias Indu, a resident of Suraram, reportedly walked onto the main road in an inebriated state and began misbehaving with motorists. When a police patrol team reached the spot and asked her to leave, she argued with them and allegedly pushed the officers.
Further investigation is under way.
