Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched a strong verbal attack against Pakistan on Thursday (April 30, 2026), accusing it of consistently backing terrorism and emerging as the global hub of “international terrorism,” while asserting that India’s counter-terror actions were decisive and strategically calibrated.

Speaking at the National Security Summit 2.0 organised by news agency ANI, Mr. Singh said that India had voluntarily halted Operation Sindoor on its own terms and not due to any operational limitations. He underlined that India was fully prepared for a prolonged conflict if the situation had demanded it.
