Defence Minister Rajnath Singh presented the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Leadership Award to Dr. K.V. Babu, an ophthalmologist based at Payyannur, Kannur, at the IMA National Doctor’s Day Award ceremony held in New Delhi recently.
The award was conferred in recognition of Dr. Babu’s outstanding leadership, dedication to patient care, and significant contributions to the medical profession and public health.
The IMA selected Dr. Babu for the leadership award as part of its annual National Doctor’s Day celebrations, which honour medical professionals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving the health and well-being of society and have served as role models for the medical fraternity.
