Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has been ranked 11th globally among the top 50 business schools, and number 1 in India, for the impact of its teaching cases as part of the Financial Times’ 2026 assessment of the influence of academic work on business and policy practice.

The ranking also places the institute among the top institutions globally for the adoption and use of its case material, with the IIMB cases being used across a broad international academic and professional audience.

According to the IIMB, its cases were subscribed to and used by 680 higher-education institutions across close to 50 countries during 2024 and 2025. The category of customers included academic institutions and faculty, students, companies and professionals.

The institute published 26 cases through Harvard Business Impact in both 2024 and 2025. Sales rose from 1,40,457 in 2024 to 1,84,879 in 2025, with an increase of nearly 32%.
