The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kurnool, put out an excellent display at the Second Inter-IIIT Employee Sports Meet 2025 held at IIITM Gwalior, from November 1-4.
The IIITDM’s 23-member contingent that included 18 faculty and five staff delivered an outstanding performance among the 11 participating IIITs and over 350 athletes nationwide. The institute clinched 74 medals, marking its best-ever performance at the meet.
The IIITDM team clinched gold in cricket, silver in basketball, and bronze in football. In racket sport, they secured over 40 points from table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton and squash. The notable multi-event winners include Yaswanth Kalepu, C. Chandrasekhara Sastry, and Noel Anurag Prashant, an official release said.
