A fresh controversy has erupted in West Bengal over the appointment of Uttar Pradesh Police cadre, IPS officer Ajay Pal Sharma, as a police observer in South 24 Parganas after he was seen on video issuing warnings to the family of candidate Jahangir Khan of Falta constituency.
