Idol damaged at Chandrayangutta temple

Tension prevailed in Chandrayangutta after unidentified persons allegedly damaged an idol at the Devamukha Anjaneya Swamy temple on Monday night.

The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when the temple priest arrived and noticed damage to the iron grill and the Hanuman idol inside the premises. Temple committee members immediately alerted the police.
