Hyderabad is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday, September 16, according to a forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

In its impact-based forecast released on Tuesday morning, the IMD said the city would remain under generally cloudy skies, with rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds expected during the day. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail in the morning and night hours, the forecast said.

The IMD has cautioned that the rain may lead to waterlogging in low-lying areas, traffic congestion across several parts of the city and clogging of drainage systems.
