Husband held in woman’s death case

The police have arrested the husband of a 24-year-old woman who was found dead at their residence at Panalam near Vidyanagar. The deceased has been identified as Sufaida of Badiadka. The police arrested K.M. Mohammed Adil, 28, based on the complaint filed by Sufaida’s brother.

Relatives of the woman alleged that she had been subjected to continuous physical and mental harassment by her husband and in-laws since the marriage. The accused was later remanded by the court.
