Heritage Foods Limited has denied any link between the company and Indapur Dairy, terming the recent allegations circulating in sections of the media and social media platforms as “baseless and false.”

In an official statement on Friday, its Chief Operating Officer (COO) J. Samba Murthy clarified that “Indapur Dairy is an independent private dairy firm based in Maharashtra and is not a unit of Heritage Foods.”

“While Heritage procures select dairy ingredients and undertakes contract manufacturing of products such as cheese, UHT milk, skimmed milk powder (SMP), and paneer from various suppliers, it has never entered into any contract with Indapur Dairy for the manufacture or supply of ghee,” he said.

Mr. Samba Murthy emphasised that the allegations linking it to the ghee supplied by Indapur Dairy to the TTD were “completely unfounded and have no connection to the company.”

Condemning what he described as a “focused and motivated campaign” by certain media outlets, YouTube channels, and social media influencers, the company alleged attempts to malign its reputation. It reiterated its commitment to stringent quality standards, food safety, and regulatory compliance, highlighting its ISO 22000 certification.

The COO also stated that a notice received in December 2025 had been legally challenged and remains sub judice, and that legal action was initiated against a Telugu daily over alleged defamatory reporting.
