A Hoysala police team rescued six persons, belonging to two families, trapped inside a lift owing to a technical snag on February 7, at GM Apartment, Tirupalya, under the jurisdiction of Hebbagodi Police Station.

An apartment staff member alerted ‘Namma 112’, following which the information was relayed to the Hoysala-08 patrol staff on duty, police constable Vijay Gadad and assistant head constable Devappa.

The Hoysala patrol team rushed to the spot and managed to open the lift door. All six persons, including two children, were safely rescued.
