The Hyderabad Cricket Association on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) unveiled the Telangana T20 League (TG20), positioning it as a long-awaited platform to nurture local talent and integrate the State more prominently into India’s competitive cricketing landscape.
Agam Rao, chairman, Governing Council of TG20, said the league was more than just a tournament and represented a broader vision to place Telangana firmly on India’s cricketing map. He noted that while the State has consistently produced talent, the absence of a structured, high-quality platform had limited its visibility.
