The Kerala High Court has eased two conditions that it had imposed while granting anticipatory bail to Malayalam rapper Hirandas Murali aka Vedan in a sexual assault case.

A Bench of Justice C. Pratheep Kumar eased the condition that required him to remain within Kerala and another one that he had to appear before the investigating officer every Sunday. He, however, must inform the investigating officer of his plans to go abroad.

Vedan had approached the High Court seeking modification of the bail conditions, citing stage shows to be held in a few foreign countries in December. He contended that such shows were his sole source of livelihood and that modification of the conditions would not affect the probe.
