The Kerala High Court has brought under its monitoring the police probe to trace 20-year-old Adam Jo Antony of Palluruthy, who was reported missing after his routine early morning cycling on July 28 last year.

A Division Bench of Justice Devan Ramachandran and Justice M.B. Snehalatha further issued directions to the Director General of Police (DGP) and the anti-human trafficking unit (AHTU) to intensify their efforts to trace him. The police ought to, in addition, submit monthly probe reports before the court. The plight of the youth’s father and other family members cannot be expressed in words, the court said.

The missing youth’s father K.J. Antony had filed a habeas corpus petition before the court, seeking measures to trace his son.
