Grand Sports Day held as a part of Praja Palana Pragathi programme

As part of the Praja Palana Pragathi programme, “Sports Day” was celebrated grandly across Telangana on Thursday under the ongoing Sports and Youth Festival celebrations. Various sports activities and competitions were successfully organised in all 32 district headquarters under the supervision of District Collectors and the official machinery, led by the District Youth and Sports Departments. The state-level celebrations were conducted at the LB Stadium, Hyderabad, witnessing enthusiastic participation from youth, sportspersons, parents, and the general public. Inter-Stadia Competitions were organised at major sports venues in the twin cities including Gachibowli GMCB Stadium, KBR Indoor Stadium, Saroor Nagar Indoor Stadium, Gymkhana Grounds, and the Cycling Velodrome. Managing Director of Telangana Sports Authority, A. Soni Bala Devi, personally supervised the competitions and encouraged athletes by interacting with participants across various sporting disciplines. Deputy Directors Ravi Teja, Sujatha, and Srinivas, along with Stadium Administrators Ravikumar, Raj Veer, Nandakishore, Kannam Madhu, PRO Kaleru Suresh were present.
