Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) founder Mukti Kanta Mishra and CUTM Vice-President D.N. Rao on Sunday (December 14, 2025) said the establishment of Google data center, Cognizant and eight other Information Technology (I.T.) companies would ensure vast job opportunities for youngsters of North Andhra districts.

Speaking to The Hindu in CUTM’s Vizianagaram campus, Mr. Mishra said that over 30,000 jobs would be created only with the establishment of a hyper-scale data center by Google in Visakhapatnam. He lauded the Chandrababu Naidu Government for making Google to invest around $15 billion for the establishment of the 1 GW data center in the port city.

Dr. Rao said that the university would organise a mega skill conclave in the first week of February, 2026 to enable youngsters, parents and academicians to know about the importance of acquiring new skills which would pave the way for students to get jobs quickly in Google, Cognizant and other companies.

Dr. Rao said that the university’s Vizianagaram campus has focused on various new courses such as block chain technology, cyber security and artificial intelligence to make youngsters ready to meet the expectations of the companies being established in Visakhapatnam and other places.

He said that the university had ensured jobs for nearly 6,000 youngsters who had completed their courses successfully in Vizianagaram, Bhubaneswar and other campuses of the university.
