Former DGP stresses discipline and holistic development of students

Former Director General of Police of Andhra Pradesh, N. Sambasiva Rao, inspired the students of GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya with his words of encouragement, emphasising the importance of discipline, hard work, and holistic development.

He was the chief guest at the 13th annual day celebrations of the school at Kothur villagein Nellore district on Saturday (January 4, 2026).

M. Ramshekhar, former governing board member of EMRI Green Health Services, was the guest of honour. He showed the path of achieving wisdom to the student. Swami Suveerananda, zonal director of Chinmaya Vidyalayas, was present. The students showcased their talent, with a theme of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharath’

The students participated in various cultural programmes, including songs, skits, and dances with a strong social message. Meritorious students were honoured with prizes and certificates for excellence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

The event showcased the talents, creativity, and achievements of students. It began with a traditional invocation, followed by a welcome address by correspondent B. Haritha, who highlighted the school’s academic progress, co-curricular achievements, and values-based education.

An annual report was presented, outlining the school’s milestones and accomplishments during the academic year.
