Unseasonal rain had damaged crops across several districts of Maharashtra in recent weeks, followed by a rise in temperature and a reported heatstroke death of a rickshaw driver in Akola. The Chief Minister’s Office has now issued a forecast of rain with winds and thunder in parts of the State between April 20 and April 22.

The Chief Minister’s Office said in a tweet that weather patterns are likely to change in many parts of Maharashtra over the coming days. Rain with winds is predicted between April 20 and April 22.
