As part of the Fire Safety Awareness Week celebrations, a mock drill was conducted on the premises of the Government General Hospital (GGH), Ongole, on Friday in coordination with the Disaster Management Department to create awareness about the use of fire safety equipment.

GGH Superintendent S. Manikya Rao and Administrator K. Addayya advised doctors and security personnel to enhance awareness among the staff on fire prevention measures and the effective use of fire extinguishers to tackle any unexpected fire mishap in the hospital.

A large number of doctors and staff members of the GGH participated in the awareness programme. Security and sanitation workers, along with students and doctors, took part in the camp. CSRMO Madhavilatha, Nursing Superintendent Jaya Lakshmi and others also attended the programme.
