Fire due to short circuit guts house in Kovur

A poor man’s house was totally burnt down at Thippa Tribal Colony in Pothireddipalem village of Kovur mandal in SPSR Nellore district on Wednesday (September 17) night. The fire was broke out reportedly due to an electrical short circuit in the house. Fortunately, no one was killed or injured during the incident but all the household articles were destroyed.

According to the sources, the house belonged to daily wage labourers, who have gone out to get their wages at the time of the fire accident. Observing the fire, the neighbours have informed the Fire and Emergency Services. After returning, the victims have lamented the loss of their hard-earned cash, which was kept in almirah, turned into ash.
